Buns from Granum flour

Here is the recipe how to prepare buns from Granum flour.

  • 500 g flour Granum
  • 7 g instant yeast
  • 125 g of vegetable oil or fat
  • 300 ml of tepid water
  • 1 teaspoon sugar
  • salt to taste
  • sea salt for sprinkling
  • sprig of rosemary
  • about 10 black olives, pitted

Put one teaspoon of sugar and yeast in 50 ml of water, wait for the yeast to start working. This is done only to check whether the yeast is 'alive'. Mix flour, water, oil salt to taste and knead the dough. Leave the dough in slightly oiled bowl covered with cling foil in a warm place so the dough doubles in size. Then knead the dough again, and divide it into four buns, and each roll into 6 balls. Spray the pan with oil, line with baking paper and place the buns. Scour the buns on top with a knife and insert half of an olives and also insert rosemary twigs into buns. Coat the rolls with water, sprinkle them with sea salt, and bake in a preheated oven at 250 ° C for about 20 minutes. Cover with aluminum foil if rosemary starts burning.
