Natalia's cake

Very tasty and rich cake with chocolate crumbs and, if desired, walnuts, hazelnuts or raisins.


  • 360 g Granum flour
  • 220 g butter
  • 150g sugar
  • 150g brown sugar
  • 5 ml vanilla extract
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 teaspoon of baking soda
  • 350 g chocolate chips (or chocolate chips)
  • add to taste: 120 g chopped walnuts, chopped roasted hazelnuts, raisins


Mix the flour with the baking soda and a pinch of salt. Mix sugar, brown sugar, eggs and vanilla, then increase speed and beat until the mixture becomes smooth. Add flour, and mix at slower then faster rate until smooth. Add chocolate chips (and, if desired, any of the above-suggested). Preheat oven to 190 degrees. Place small spoonfuls like small meringues leaving more space between on the baking tray lined with baking paper, because the cookies will puff up during baking. Bake for 10 minutes at 190 degrees. (If you want thicker cookies, just add more flour to the mixture).
